There’s a distinction here. Borrowing with an agreement is different from stealing, and accepting help does not make your achievements worth less. I needed help as a child. I deserved it. What I was searching for as an adult was the confidence that comes from learning how to generate something myself. How do you start again when you’re afraid of losing what little you have?
